Dear CWC,
Just like the others, I joined Videotron in 1996. I was impressed with the free calls and especially the Internet. I even got myself a second line. Now I get regular mail from CWC asking me to change my old tariff and join LocalCall, SmartCall etc. for cheaper call charges. I think it's unfair and CWC should continue giving free calls as it is this fact that has made your company popular with a lot of residential users who use the internet.
Apparently in France, for £6 a month, one is allowed to have an account with an ISP and surf the net free 24 hours a day!!! I am not sure if this is 100% correct, but I have heard this to be the case.
I believe that CWC should not only give free calls but should be an example to other Telecom companies like BT by taking the initative and offering free calls. After all it's not as if Telecom companies in the UK are not making any profit!!!
